Shipping

Electric bikes shipped to any Province within Canada qualify for free shipping.

On all International orders, apart from the shipping cost, it is the customer’s responsibility to pay the import and customs duties and fees that are incurred as a result of the shipment.

It is the responsibility of each customer to make sure they comply with all of their local/state/federal rules concerning the import and use of electric bicycles.

Shipping costs are non-refundable and the customer is responsible for paying for their own shipping costs for returning their item. The customer should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance.

If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

Please note vBite are not responsible for any damaged, lost, or stolen items due to any parcel service weakness.

Refund policy

  • Order Cancellation

Unshipped orders: can be canceled 1 business day prior to shipment for a full refund.

Pre-orders: can be canceled 3 business days prior to shipment for a full refund.

  • Order Return

Return Policy is applied for 14 days (No returns after 14 days of receiving)

Shipped Orders:

Sealed and unopened package:

  • The box must be unopened and completely sealed.
  • The original shipping fee we incurred to send the bike to you will not be refunded (even when ‘free’ shipping is advertised). Customer pays shipping both ways.

Opened package:

  • Product must be unused, free from dirt, dust, or any fragrances, and in the same packaging and condition that you received it.
  • Subject to a 20% restocking fee (this is withheld from refund)
  • The original shipping fee we incurred to send the bike to you will not be refunded (even when ‘free’ shipping is advertised). Customer pays shipping both ways.

Used products:

  • no returns except in cases of extreme damage or major defects.

Defective Product

    • If the product is defective, please inform us immediately upon receiving the package and we will arrange for necessary repairs and if it is necessary in some cases, replacement of the product will be applied.  All the costs of shipment and repair will be covered by vBike.
  • If the customer uses the product after observing a defect, the exchange or return policy is not applicable.
  • Accessory/replacement part orders:
  • No returns after 30 days of receiving.
  • To be eligible for a return, the item must be unused, clean and free from dirt or dust, and in the same packaging and condition that it was received.

Return Process

 Before a return is sent you must receive an approval letter from vBike. You are required to return the product in the same package and condition it was received in. The product is subject to inspection upon delivery. Once your return is received and inspected, we will send an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. If you are approved, your refund will be processed and a credit will be applied to your credit card or original method of payment within a reasonable number of days. A restocking fee may be applied.

  • If the item deemed to be unsellable, damaged, unclean, or not in its original condition and is packed incorrectly, the return will be rejected and the customer has to take the product back at their own expense.
  • If the bike has been in your possession for more than14 days or has been ridden it will not be eligible for return.

  • Exchanges

vBike only accepts exchanges for items that are severely defective or extremely damaged. If you believe you may be eligible for an exchange, please email us at support@vbikes.ca.

  • Sale Items
  • All sale items are final sale and there are no refunds, exchanges, or credits of any kind.
  • If sale items are returned without approval from our customer service, it will be returned to the customer directly and the customer will be informed. Restocking fees may apply to unauthorized returns items.

Street Legality

Under Canadian regulations, ebikes sold by vBike in Canada are street legal. PLEASE CONSIDER, the customers must check their local regulations to ensure that they are riding legally and safely.

Liability Disclaimer

You are responsible for your own actions while using an electric bike. vBike is not responsible/nor liable for any accident, injury, or death (whether caused by you or others) that may occur during your use. you are seriously recommended to contact your insurance provider to determine if your current insurance policy would cover you in the event of an accident.
